Uppercase was commissioned to design and produce two unique hand-crafted mirrors reminiscent of Coopers heritage and old advertising collateral. The informed and laborious approach involved hundreds of hours of pencil renders, hand-painting and 23ct gold-leaf gilding; a workflow that allowed a sense of warmth and imperfection that only comes from working by hand. Along with the one-off pieces, we also installed a number of painted signs to compliment the space.

The two custom glass mirrors commission by Coopers spanned 3 metres each – equating to hundreds of hours of tedious labour to produce the 12 & 23ct gold-leaf finishes.
